We believe that all who believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord ought to be baptized by immersion in the name of the Father and in the name of the Son and in the name of the Holy Spirit. Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Christ’s atonement and a symbol of the believer’s commitment to die to sin and be raised up to the newness of life in Christ; that is, it symbolizes both justification and sanctification.
