1 Tim. 4:6, 13, 16
6 If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed. . . . . 13 Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. . . . . 16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
1 Tim. 5:17
17 Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.
2 Tim. 1:13
13 Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
2 Tim. 2:2
2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
16 Jesus answered them and said, "My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 "If anyone wants to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.
